ABOUT TONY
Born in Catanzaro, Italy in 1947, Tony Bianco moved to Australia with his family in 1958. His career began at the age of just 18 and by 22 he was making sample shoe prototypes at home.
In 1972 Tony started a small factory in Hawthorn with his wife Michela and 5 employees, creating the brand TONY BIANCO.
Production continued to grow exponentially over the years, with many boutiques opening and the brand quickly became an iconic footwear destination across Australia.

TONY BIANCO currently operates 9 boutiques across Australia and is stocked by various national and international retailers. In 2026, the brand achieved a major milestone with the opening of our first NYC flagship store in the heart of SoHo.
Based in Melbourne, Australia, Tony Bianco remains a family-led business under the direction of brothers Anthony and Adam Bianco. Together, they lead a small, dedicated, passionate, and hardworking team of individuals who are all truly shoe-obsessed.
